This service covers two related documents. A migration-grade résumé or CV is a structured career history written so an assessing authority and the Department of Home Affairs can match your experience to a nominated ANZSCO occupation — dates, hours, employers and duties must be precise, consistent and verifiable, unlike a marketing CV. A Statement of Purpose (SOP) or Genuine Student (GS) statement is a written statement, primarily for the student visa (subclass 500), explaining your study and career intentions and addressing the Genuine Student requirement. The former Genuine Temporary Entrant test has been replaced by the Genuine Student requirement, though some institutions still call the document an SOP.
