Overview

Visa Documentation Support

End-to-end support to assemble, certify and lodge a complete, decision-ready Australian visa application. It covers everything after eligibility is established: building the document checklist, preparing the personal-particulars forms (Form 80 and Form 1221), arranging health examinations and police or character clearances, obtaining certified translations, and uploading evidence in the correct structure within ImmiAccount. A decision-ready application is one where the case officer has every document needed to decide without issuing further requests.

Relevance

Most visa refusals and delays stem from documentation gaps; a decision-ready lodgement with complete health, character and supporting evidence is what gets applications granted quickly.

Why It Matters

Why it matters

The Department of Home Affairs increasingly favours fully documented applications. Missing or inconsistent evidence triggers requests for information that can slow processing by months, or leads to outright refusal. For points-tested visas, every points claim made in the EOI must be evidenced at lodgement, and front-loading health and character evidence where appropriate can materially shorten time to grant.

Key Details

The documentation we prepare

Identity — passport, national ID, photos and name-change evidence.

Forms — Form 80 and Form 1221 when required, reconciled against all other evidence.

Skills and points — positive skills assessment, English test, reference letters, payslips and qualifications.

Health — HAP ID and a completed Bupa or panel-physician examination, generally valid for around 12 months.

Character — police clearance certificates for each relevant country of residence, generally valid for around 12 months.

Translations — NAATI-certified translations of all non-English documents.

Family — marriage or relationship evidence and dependents' documents.

How It Works

Your Step-by-Step Journey

Specific to the subclass and your circumstances — identity, relationship, qualifications, employment, English and dependents.

Form 80 details your history of residence, travel, employment and associations; Form 1221 largely overlaps it and is provided when requested.

Passports, certificates, and evidence for every points or skills claim — skills assessment, English test, references, payslips and qualifications.

Generate HAP IDs and book Bupa Medical Visa Services in Australia, or an approved panel physician offshore.

A police clearance for every relevant country of residence, and NAATI-accredited certified translations of non-English documents.

Upload to ImmiAccount in the correct categories, pay the visa application charge, and respond to any case-officer requests promptly.

Watch Out

Good to know

Health and PCC timing — both are typically valid around 12 months, so completing them too early can mean repeating them, while too late delays the grant.
Form 80 inconsistencies — dates of residence, travel and employment must reconcile with passports, the CV, references and the EOI.
Missing a country's police clearance — every country of significant residence usually needs one.
Uncertified or non-compliant translations, or uploading non-assessable documents such as offer letters in place of proper reference letters.
Lodging incomplete to save time — this almost always backfires with a request-for-information delay.
How CMG helps
  • Produce a subclass-specific, applicant-specific checklist and manage collection.
  • Assist with accurate completion of Forms 80 and 1221, reconciled against all other evidence.
  • Time and coordinate health (Bupa or panel physician) and police-clearance steps to stay within validity windows.
  • Arrange NAATI-standard certified translations, then assemble and lodge a decision-ready ImmiAccount application and manage case-officer correspondence.
